EXPLORING NEW AREAS OF COOPERATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF GREENWICH (UNITED KINGDOM)
As part of efforts to expand scientific and educational cooperation and create new opportunities for Tajik applicants to study at leading foreign higher education institutions, a meeting was held between a representative of the State Institution “Center for International Programs” and the leadership of the University of Greenwich (UK).

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues related to the education of Tajik students, quality of instruction, internship opportunities, and financial support for students.

It was emphasized that the University of Greenwich is one of the prominent institutions in the UK, placing strong focus on educational quality and practical student experience. According to the university’s leadership, students in fields such as economics, finance, and management are offered internships at leading banks and financial institutions during academic breaks, which enhances their professional skills and employability.

The parties also discussed possible tuition discounts and financial aid opportunities for Tajik students, including through national and international scholarship programs.
Founded in 1890, the University of Greenwich is among the UK’s well-known institutions, particularly renowned in business, engineering, social sciences, healthcare, and education. The university offers over 250 programs of higher education, with modern infrastructure and an inclusive international learning environment.
The university has campuses in London, Kent, and Medway. It provides tuition funding for international students, advanced digital infrastructure, well-equipped libraries, and modern teaching conditions.
It is worth highlighting that, under the enlightened education policy and increasing attention of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, today all necessary conditions have been created for Tajik youth to pursue studies at the world’s top universities and acquire modern professions and skills.
