NEW EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR TAJIK STUDENTS AT DE MONTFORT UNIVERSITY

In order to further develop international cooperation in higher education and strengthen ties with leading foreign institutions, a representative of the State Institution “Center for International Programs” held a working meeting with the leadership of De Montfort University in the city of Leicester.

During the meeting, the parties discussed educational opportunities for Tajik students, the presentation of priority academic programs, the creation of joint projects, and exchange initiatives involving faculty and students.

It was noted that De Montfort University is one of the top-ranked universities in the United Kingdom, holding strong positions in international rankings for architecture, pharmacy, and engineering. The university is known for its modern approach to teaching, international environment, and personalized student support, earning it a solid reputation in the UK higher education landscape.

During the campus visit, the representative of the Center became acquainted with the university’s dormitory conditions, academic infrastructure, equipped laboratories, research centers, and modern learning environment. It was highlighted that the university offers a wide range of resources to support both educational and research development.

The university leadership expressed its readiness to admit qualified Tajik students in the aforementioned fields. The Center for International Programs expressed its commitment to jointly design specialized higher education programs in collaboration with De Montfort University and facilitate the recruitment of talented students from Tajikistan.
