MEETING WITH TAJIK STUDENTS AT FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (USA)
As part of their official visit to the state of Florida, United States of America, representatives of the State Institution “Center for International Programs” held a meeting with a group of Tajik students studying under the Presidential International Scholarship of the Republic of Tajikistan “Durakhshandagon.”

The meeting was attended by four students from Florida International University (FIU) and one student from North Carolina State University (NC State). During the visit, the delegation reviewed the students’ living conditions, educational environment, level of support services, and access to academic resources, while also engaging directly with the students to learn about their educational progress. In the conversation, the officials highlighted the continuous attention of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, towards youth development. It was emphasized that the establishment of the “Durakhshandagon” Presidential Scholarship reflects the farsighted and wise policy of the state in supporting and empowering the country’s human capital and new generation of professionals.

Key topics of discussion included patriotism, national identity, countering extremism, effective time management, studying foreign languages and modern sciences, and preparing to return and contribute to national development. In conclusion, the representatives of the Center called on the students to represent Tajikistan with dignity abroad, pursue knowledge, uphold moral values and a scientific worldview, and upon graduation, return to their homeland with commitment and contribute meaningfully to the country’s priority social and economic sectors. It is worth noting that these students are enrolled in academic disciplines that are vital to the national economy.
